At about 6:30pm on the last Friday in January, just as we were entering a cold snap, I realized I was getting no heat from my furnace. Murphy's Law still rules! I called Heidi at Spark heating, and within 10 minutes she called back to confirm Corey would be on his way after he stopped at the shop. Corey arrived right on time and checked the furnace, and I heard him get on the phone. The verdict was the blower motor was dead and due to supply chain issues it might be hard to find a replacement. Behind the scenes, Cleo was working the phone to track down a replacement motor. Apparently there were two in Edmonton, but one was committed. Cleo got the last one, and the supplier opened up its shop so Spark could collect it. Corey picked up the replacement motor, installed it in the fan assembly, and got the furnace up and running by about 11:00 pm. You can imagine my relief when I felt warm air coming out of one of the vents! On top of that, my club membership saved me about 20% on the standard cost. Spark Heating has looked after my furnace, water heater and A/C for several decades now, and I wouldn't trust anyone else.Posted on Connie DonnellyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ethan from Spark heating completed our annual funace service today. Very good communication and left area cleaner than he found it. Had to run for parts and return in the time he anticipated. Highly recommend him.
